A unique approach

We have developed a unique approach enabling us to work with a rapidly expanding network of over 3000 local media professionals in more than 80 countries. Active in Africa, Latin America, Asia and increasingly the Middle East, our network consists of professional film crews, photographers and reporters.

From production offices in Amsterdam and Nairobi, our dedicated teams work closely with the network in order to utilise specialized knowledge and expertise on the ground. Our teams consist of video, photo and communication experts who have solid understanding of both development and business context in our countries of operation.

 

Why work with local talent?

There are many creative professionals in emerging countries but they often lack access to international clients. As a social venture, we provide local talent with a sustainable source of income and support the development of their international portfolio. This has a knock-on effect for communities in terms of supporting independent media, challenging generic stereotypes and strengthening local economies in developing countries. The power of this approach is best illustrated by one of our highly valued camera operators in Uganda:
