Africa Interactive reporters use mobile phones or basic digital camera's to make great Simple Video Reports. Once interviews and filming are done, the reporter writes a short text and upload the videoclips to the Africa Interactive servers.

For IICD we produced a video about a project for farmers in North-Ghana where price information about their crops is provided to them via text messages on their mobile phone.

For Hivos we made portraits about women who benefit from their partnerorganisation Kivulini in Mwanza, Tanzania.

Source Connection


For Source Connection we produced a video about their drinking water project in the South of Zambia. This Amsterdam based NGO used the video during a fundraising dinner in November 2009 and collected 17.000 euro.

Solarix, biodiesel project in Kenya


For Solarix we produced a video about their project Kenya Eco Energy. Solarix delivers installations which - through a unique technique - process residual fats and pure vegetable oils (PVO) such as rapeseed oil, palm oil and soybean oil into biodiesel. Solarix combines practical and theoretical know-how in the fields of biodiesel technique, agriculture and management.

For the Akvo.org website we produced a video about the Daryeel Foundation Burao in Somaliland. This partnerorganisation of the Dutch NGO Aqua4All is focussing on sanitation projects in a refugee camp near Burao.

For Akvo.org we produced this video. Hygiene education is part of the curriculum at Osunyai Primary school some 6 kilometres from Arusha in northern Tanzania. However, the poor sanitation conditions prevent pupils and teachers from maintaining the minimum level of hygiene.

As Angola was getting ready for the historic September 5, 2008 legislative elections, major parties are campaigning countrywide to try and win more votes. A fierce battled is expected between long-time rival parties, the ruling MLPA and the former rebel movement UNITA. Africa Interactive produced this video for the Evert Vermeer Stichting.

Nike 5 Showdown in Ghana


Africa Interactive worked with Nike to organize, launch and document the companies first launch into the African market. A football competition has been organized for 3000 Ghana teens. The event took place parallel to the Africa Cup of Nations 2008.
