Philips Africa Roadshow
For the Philips Cairo to Cape Town Roadshow, which is taking place from May to July 2010, we produced several videos. WASTE
For the Dutch organization WASTE we produced a video about informal entrepeneurs in the sanitation business in Nairobi, Kenya. The objective of WASTE is to connect local bankers to these entrepeneurs in order to finance their businessplans.

Agency for International Business and Cooperation
Africa Interactive produced a video for the Dutch Agency for International Business and Cooperation (EVD). The EVD supports various programmes in the field of sustainable economic growth in developing countries and emerging markets.
This video is about the EVD's Private Sector Investment programme (PSI). PSI is designed to support Dutch (or foreign) business investments in emerging markets, in cooperation with local businesses.

Philips at UNEP conference in Kenya
Africa Interactive produced this video for Philips about their presence at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) conference in Nairobi, Kenya, which was held from 16 to 20 February 2009. Philips was present at this event to showcase their new solar/off-grid lighting products.

Philips Lighting
Africa Interactive is working with Philips Lighting in the effort to document the introduction of solar lighting solutions to the African continent. Dedicated African teams are working with the Philips program to capture the roll out of this unique product. The reporters of Africa Interactive produce dedicated articles, video and photography on sustainability. The Africa Interactive team in The Netherlands translate and supervises the content.

CBI
For the Centre for Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (CBI) Africa Interactive made a video about thevalue chain of mangos from Mali to the supermarket in The Netherlands. The CBI is an agency of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They supported the building of a cooling station for mangos in Bamako, the capital of Mali.

Since 2006 the Nestlé Agri-BEE Programme supports emerging black farmers in South Africa's Free State province. Nestlé has partnered with other stakeholders to facilitate the emerging farmers with water, electricity and road infrastructure. Africa Interactive produced a video about this programme.

Akvo
Africa Interactive is working with Akvo.org in the efforts to roll out "Really Simple Reporting". The initiative is looking to see how we can use mobile technology as a monitoring and reporting tool. Local journalists are visiting Akvo projects and producing small mobile reports. These reports are integrated into the project profiles on the Akvo.org website.

We have worked on creating content for the Philips website about their new solar lighting products in Africa. Our reporters in Uganda and Ghana have made videos, articles and text about the introduction of the solar powered products into the African market.

Premier Cup Africa website for Nike
For the second year Nike organised the Premier Cup Africa Tournament in June 2009. The ultimate goal of the three African competitors is to qualify for the The Manchester United Premier Cup (MUPC). This is the biggest football tournament for under-15's in the world.
Africa Interactive built the website for this tournament and made the videos about the teams in their home countries and during the event in Hilversum, the Netherlands. Visit the website.
Mobile Reporting / Voices of Africa
Voices of Africa is a partnership between the Africa Interactive company and the Voices of Africa Media Foundation. The aim of the project is to introduce the mobile phone as a reporting tool in Africa. We make use of modern mobile technology and work to establish the link between mobile and internet publishing. This is the first time the concept of mobile reporting has been introduced in Africa. Visit the website.
